The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is focused on addressing health disparities, improving health outcomes, and achieving health equity.
In support of the President’s Executive Order on Ensuring Equitable Pandemic Response and Recovery and the Executive Order on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government, HRSA is building on these efforts by establishing a Health Equity Fellowship Program, set to launch in 2022.
The first cohort of the Fellowship will include five participants. Participants will:
- Work in Bureaus and Offices across HRSA that work directly on health equity efforts.
- Connect with leaders across HRSA to learn more about HRSA mission’s to achieve health equity.
- Work together to develop as a cohort, including through development and training opportunities and small group sessions with senior leaders and staff
An informational session about HRSA, the HRSA Health Equity Fellowship Program, and other opportunities will be scheduled for April 28th, 2022, 11:30am – 12:30pm EST. Interested candidates can join the meeting in Zoom via this link.
The Fellowship Program job announcement opens on April 25th, 2022. Potential applicants can apply via USAJobs.gov until May 6th, 2022.
